Yorkshire Teacher's First Blog

I've been meaning to write a blog for a number of years now but I've never gotten round to it. I spend a lot of my planning time on Pinterest, looking at what other teachers are doing and gaining tonnes of inspiration, applying it to my work and (hopefully!) becoming a better teacher.

I'm quite an active Pinterest user and have quite a lot of followers for the boards that I share to. The main reason for this blog is so that my actual work can be shared, rather than me just sharing others' work. I'm going to try to keep this blog up to date with examples of my displays, how I set out my classroom, the work I set and how I apply the national curriculum to my classroom.

Hopefully others will find this blog useful, but if not at least it's something for me to look back on year on year to reflect on what I've done and how I can make it better.

My next post will have examples of my practice.

Signing off!

The Yorkshire Teacher
